Paleo Waffles!

Basic Paleo Waffles

  • 1/4 cup of coconut flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon coconut milk
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature


Preheat waffle iron and read manufacturer’s instructions. In a large mixing bowl sift coconut flour, baking soda, baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Combine. Whisk in coconut milk and eggs. Let sit for 10 minutes. Spoon about 1/2 cup of batter onto iron and close to cook. This first waffle will be the tester. Cook waffle until golden brown. Remove to plate and keep warm
